Anna is one of our loyal Twitter followers and loves to re-tweet our sales, contests and occasional inane ramblings about the weather and odd national holidays. We love to show our profound appreciation to our wonderful customers and the interest we share in great jewelry. It was a match made in heaven!

Earlier this month, Anna won our twitter tweets contest by entering in our jewelry poll and re-tweeting our posts to all of her fellow followers. She also became a fan of our Facebook page AND signed up as a Blue Pouch VIP Member! She had entered most of our previous giveaways and left thoughtful & complimentary comments on our posts and products before… but this was her winning week!

Anna won a beautiful silver colored heart charm toggle bracelet and gave it to her daughter Abby to hold for a photo opportunity. Anna had this to say about her gift, “This is one stunning bracelet engraved with “Mom”. What a wonderful Mother’s Day Gift!”

Jewelry that’s Out of this World!

Every month, depending on how good I’ve been, I treat myself to one or two new feminine accessories; a purse, new eye shadow, a scarf or perhaps even a decadent piece of German Chocolate Cake! But, when I’ve been exceptionally good my fiancé will aid in my ever present dilemma of choosing only 2 jewelry items by adding a third into the pot … provided he gets a say in the item in question.

The Mr. has always been a fan of elegant femininity, the allure of sophistication with that rare attention to detail; and nothing screams elegance and sophistication like pearls!

It could be the calming hues that are inherent to the pearled gem; the swirling shades of white or that occasional addition of gentle pastels. Or perhaps it’s the awe you feel when you realize this gem was actually made by a living animal, taking years to develop the layers upon layers of nacre in the belly of an oyster.

For me, it’s slightly more personal: For my 12^th birthday my parents bought me a ginormous telescope to while away my evening hours looking through the tiny eye-hole staring at the heavens and longing to touch that quixotic orb. The pearl reminds of this childhood fascination with the mysterious; that courageous exploration of the unknown. To this day they instill me with a certain confidence that is unparalleled. From the simple studs in my ears, to the ornate strands draping over my collar bone, I hold my head up a little higher and feel more confident, more sophisticated, more… feminine!

So, with the help of my future hubby I decided on some sterling silver cultured pearl heart earrings. It turned out to be a most fortuitous circumstance that I let him assist with this excruciating decision… the earrings had a matching necklace and bracelet that I just couldn’t refuse!

2,000 New Gift Items on Amazon.com, New Engraving Machine & More!

We recently added around 2,000 new items to Amazon under our newest brand name, West Coast Gifts. The new products can be found in both the Home and Garden and Office categories on Amazon.com. The new collections feature hundreds of items from photo frames to desk sets ranging in price from $9.99 on up.

The new collections will be the first items on West Coast Jewelry’s newest website, WestCoastGifts.com, currently under construction with a scheduled launch date of September 2008. The site will launch with almost 5,000 gift items and will be cross categorized by product and event for easy user navigation. The release will also coincide with a redesign of WestCoastJewelry.com, the home page of West Coast Jewelry. While some gift products carried on WestCoastJewelry.com will be also featured on WestCoastGifts.com such as cuff links and key chains, the West Coast Gifts items will be offered for sale exclusively on the WCG site.

West Coast Jewelry is also pleased to announce that all items including the new giftware line are engravable! For the first time ever WCJ will be offering engraving services for both the inside and outside of rings as well as flat items such as business card cases, keychains, dog tags and more! West Coast Jewelry is proud to announce the release of its new Titanium Collection and Stainless Steel Collection. The two new collections are brothers of the Tungsten Tough Collection, released a few weeks earlier. The new collections feature pieces in the same styling as Tungsten Tough, incorporating 14k Yellow Gold Plating and also Black IP Plating with the natural brushed and polished titanium and steel looks.
